Filifaba Flødeboller
I created a vegan flødebolle brand that brings people together through celebration, while doing a little better for the planet along the way. Winwin. It started as a school project, but I won’t lie: I’d love to see it on actual shelves one day.
Flødeboller are a traditional Danish treat people often share when celebrating. But not everyone gets to be part of that moment. Allergies and dietary restrictions quietly exclude more people than we think.
Filifaba Flødeboller are made from upcycled aquafaba — a protein-rich liquid from chickpeas that would otherwise go to waste. The result is a plant-based alternative that reduces unnecessary environmental impact, while making sure more people can join the celebration.
One more thing, since Flødeboller is a core danish product, I deliberately decided to also make a core danish brand. All copy is in danish, appoligize.

︎︎︎Proces
I love adobe but the analogue way of working is what I love the most and this project was a good excuse to step away from the screen. Every illustration started on paper before finding its way into the final design.

A huge thanks to Clare McNally, Birte Nielsen, Cathrine Understrup, Joachim Rosenstand and Klara Vilshammer for feedback during this project. And a massive shout-out to my dear friends Frida, Laura and Mathias for insights and support.
